"I work in the grow rooms at Indigo, so I spend a lot of time inside our Conviron growth chamber (the largest growth chamber built by Conviron). This tech enables us to precisely control temperature, humidity, and light conditions to create an ideal environment for growing plants. "

What would you say are Indigo's core values, and why do they resonate with you?

"Protecting the environment and improving sustainability are core values that resonate the most with me. Before joining Indigo, I was an environmental scientist specializing in petroleum remediation. It feels more fulfilling for me to work towards sustainability rather than cleaning up the waste of an unsustainable and environmentally detrimental industry. "

What technologies do you use at Indigo?

"At Indigo, I do a lot of microbial preparation for grow room experiments, which means a lot of sterile work using autoclaved and sterile-filtered media to prepare the SYMs, which is done in the autoclave. I also frequently use the biosafety cabinets and pipettes to prepare and mix inoculum for seed treatment. "

The Indigo Product Development Team is focused on the development of product leads into industry-leading products that delight Indigo’s customers and stakeholders. We advance leads originating from our internal Discovery efforts and our external collaborators by: 1) Understanding how they can meet customer needs, 2) Understanding how we can improve their performance, and 3) Creating data assets and knowledge that enable continual process improvement across Indigo and customer use.
